Dr. Xiaoming Hu
Dr. Xiaoming Hu works as a Zijiang Young Scholar of Health Science Center, East China Normal University (ECNU). He obtained Doctoral Degree from Huazhong Agricultural University in 2015; after that, he did postdoc training at Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences (2015-2017). He worked as Research Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health, Chinese Academy of Sciences (2017-2022), and worked as a Young Professor at Institute for Translational Brain Research, Fudan University (2022-2023). Since 2023, Dr. Hu moved to the Health Science Center at ECNU. His research interest focuses on investigating intestinal amino acid metabolic response and diseases. As the first author or co-first author, he has published in journals such as Gastroenterology, Advanced Science, Journal of Crohn’s and Colitis, Endocrine Reviews, and Communications Biology. His research was supported by grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Natural Science Foundation of Shanghai ‘Science and Technology Innovation Action Plan’, and the Youth Innovation Promotion Association CAS. He has served as a reviewer for many domestic and international journals such as Nutrition and Metabolism, and Frontiers in Genetics.
